In Memory of Myranda Lyn My only child and daughter February 5, 1983 — November 4, 2000 Recommended Website Myranda's Memorial Website My Story My seventeen year old daughter Myranda Lyn completed suicide in 11-4-00. Mandi was such a great kid she always seemed as though she had her head on straight. She always knew what she wanted I still don't understand. Myranda was my only child and I never see grandhildren or be called "mom" again. Oh, how I miss that! I am the one who found her actually probably moments after it happened, but it was too late. I live with this everyday and images from "that day" play in my mind constantly. She was a Senior in a technical high school specializing in carpentry. She proudly served as a Pvt 1st class in the U.S. Army Reserves. My Parents have a summer home in Ellsworth, Maine on Molassess Pond. That was my daughter's favorite place in the whole world. She loved it there! Thanks for letting me join The Memory Trees of Lights outreach. I hope that I do a good job—I hope to make a difference. |
