In Memory of Daniel Walsh November 8, 1983 – July 15, 2002 Recommended Website http://www.geocities.com/breezedangel/Daniel.html Our Story My name is Dawn, I have 3 sons, one of which I lost to suicide. Daniel, my middle child, was only 18 on July 15, 2002. He was such an energetic, happy go lucky person. He was so full of life and had so much to offer. After much research, I have come to realize that suicide is an epidemic. We never spoke of suicide unless we heard of somebody committing the act. Daniel would then say how could they do that, their are other ways to deal with stress. Daniel had so many plans for the future and dreams he wanted to make come true, I think, I always that he'd be here to fulfill them. I hope the Memory Tree of Lights will bring peace and comfort to those who have experienced such a horrible loss, that they are not alone, and provide a place during the holdays where they can go and memorialize the memory of their loved one(s). In our very small community five young boys have taken teir life, from April 2002 - September 2003. I hope to promote community awareness.
